The Nadi Primary Schools Athletics Association has reduced its number of athletes for the 2015 Chow Games, which starts on Friday in Suva.
The team rounded up its last training session today with 100 athletes, compared to the 150 athletes that were initially selected.
Nadi Athletics President, Noa Neivogo says officials undertook stringent measures to select only the best athletes for the meet.
“We’ve seen improvements and we have time and there’s time that they need to reach for tracks and for the field events, there are certain criteria which we have done our selection on and i think we are taking the best to Suva.”
The 2015 Chow Games will be held on Friday and Saturday at the ANZ Stadium in Suva.
