More Fijian rugby coaches are expected to get employment in foreign countries.

Minister for Foreign Affairs Ratu Inoke Kubuabola says there have been request coming in from countries after the success of our 7’s team.

“There are increasing queries from Asia given the success of our national sevens team. China for example plans to have one million rugby players by the year 2030 and they are already looking for rugby coaches.”

Kubuabola adds that he is hopeful to see a World Rugby 7’s tournament also coming to Fiji in the coming years.
