Goalkeeper Ben Aminio Matainaqara will have a bit more to play for when the Vodafone Fiji Football side takes on New Caledonia in the World Cup qualifiers on Wednesday.

The Lautoka stopper became dad after his wife gave birth to a baby boy last week and says he has a new reason to play for this Wednesday.

Yeah it’s a great feeling. Being a father to a son is a blessing and I am thankful to have that feeling. I will always try and do things to make my family and especially my son feel proud of me.
