Snooker player Jitend Prasad was crowned the winner of the Pillay Garments Champion versus Champion last night at the Merchant Club in Suva.

Prasad defeated Rahil Prasad by six frames to one in the final.

Prasad says he was overwhelmed to finish on top and crowned the champion.

“I’m very proud to win the tournament and it was a great tournament. The game was anybody’s game where one win and one lose.”

Sixteen top snooker players in the country competed at the three day tournament which started last Friday and ended yesterday.
