“Mainly facility and financial, trying to get corporal sponsors to come on board and sponsor events. Even for this trip we tried to get some corporate companies on board but it’s usually difficult, facility in terms of facility we have been moving from place to place every weekend so it’s really hard for players to come to one location every Saturday. When we move from place to place we also lose players showing interest to come and join.”

The Fiji U12 Baseball team has qualified as a wildcard entrant to the U12 Baseball World Cup in Taiwan, something which the team had to raise funds for.

Fiji will take on South Africa in their first U12 Baseball World Cup match in Taiwan this Friday.
