Former Lautoka Football Association president Shalendra Prasad has been appointed as the chair of a normalization committee that will run the association in the interim.

This follows the resignation of all committee members and former president Abdul Kadar.

Fiji Football Association president Rajesh Patel says Prasad will lead the committee and this will be overlooked by the Chief Executive, Mohammed Yusuf.

Patel says they need the committee to ensure the affairs of Lautoka normalize.
