Manchester City returns to top of Premier League Standing

Manchester City returned to the top of the Premier League table this morning while Brighton edged further away from the relegation zone.

Phil Foden’s goal gave City a 1-0 win over Tottenham in the early kick-off to send Pep Guardiola’s side one point clear of title rivals Liverpool.

Brighton ended a run of four successive defeats with a goalless draw at Wolves.

In other EPL matches, Watford beat Huddersfield 2-1, Fulham edged Bournemouth 1-0, Newcastle slammed Southampton 3-1, Leicester City were held 2-all by West Ham and Brighton while the Brighton versus Wolves match ended nil-all.
