The Fiji Football Association has announced the Vodafone Futsal Inter-District Championship pool draws today.

Rewa is pooled with Suva, Labasa and Tavua in Pool A – while Pool B consists of Navua, Tailevu Naitasiri, Nadroga and Nadi.

Fiji FA President Rajesh Patel says they will be boosting competition this year to improve Fiji’s performance in the Oceania Futsal Championship.

“We are lacking behind in Oceania and Paul knows about it, but that doesn’t mean we cannot catch up. If you see the 11-a side with the good result that we had in two friendlies, we excelled. We have to start with the basic. Get our development and platform right, once we have it right, then only we’ll be able to do it.”

The Inter District Champions will be played next weekend at the National Hockey Center in Suva.
