Five women’s team have been confirmed to compete in the Raka 7slater this year.

These are Cakaudrove 1, Cakaudrove 2, TF Brigade, Ovalau and Serua.

Tournament Manager, Ropate Kauvesi says 11 spots are up for grabs in the women’s category with 13 teams are batting for the last 11 spots.

Kauvesi says the officials are still in discussions on fielding a few regional or international women’s teams in this year’s tournament.

The Raka 7s will be held from the 31st of November to the 1st of December at Suva’s ANZ Stadium.
