The Telecom Fijiana 7s rugby side has been drawn in a tough pool in the Dubai 7s in December.

This is the opening leg of the IRB Women’s Sevens World Series.

The Iliesa Tanivula coached side is grouped in Pool C alongside Canada, England and Brazil.

World champions New Zealand are top seeds in Pool A, which includes USA, China and Russia.

Australia is top seed in Pool B together with South Africa, France and Spain.

The Telecom Fijiana side achieved core status in the world circuit after winning the qualifying tournament in Hong Kong last month.

The Dubai 7s will be held on the 4th-5th December.
