November 21, 2014 3:55 am

The Fiji Football Association is happy with the performance of the Vodafone Fiji Under 20 football team in the OFC President’s Cup in New Zealand.

Fiji FA President, Rajesh Patel says the boys are learning from their mistakes and more tours are planned to prepare them well for the 2015 FIFA Under 20 World Cup.

“We are pleased with the progress of the under 20 team. We know the weakness areas that we have got and we have to work on it. We would have loved to win against Amicale but Amicale is a professional side as they have brought players from around the world. We know the more game time we give to the players the better they will be. Once they come back i have been offered also tours to Philippines, Malaysia and Myanmar and other places at the same we trying to hook up tour to USA.”
