Digicel Fiji Sevens rugby coach Alifereti Dere says it will not be a repeat of last season when Fiji lost their lead in the IRB Sevens series after failing to win the second leg.

Dere says this year the team is better prepared.

He says they have set their minds on winning in Dubai and South Africa.

Winning the first tournament has set the pace. The preparation compared to this year has been better. So this year we are better prepared.

Fiji is pooled with Kenya, Scotland and Spain for the Dubai 7s and the first match is against Spain at 6.50pm on Friday week.
