Indiscipline and mistakes caused the Macuata side a big upset in their Vodafone Vanua Cup clash against Cakaudrove yesterday.
Macuata failed to jot a down a single point, bowing out to Cakaudrove 16-0 at the final whistle. Macuata copped 4 yellow cards, one during the first half and three in the second half.
Macuata Coach Sevina Nanuku says this is an area of concern for them and it cost them alot.
Nanuku added despite the loss, he is happy with the performance of the boys.
Cakaudrove on the other hand copped two yellow cards.
Coach Rayne Simpson says they are working to reduce the number of yellow cards issued during their matches.
Simpson is happy with the performance of the team as they continue to impress game after game.
Cakaudrove’s points came from a try, a successful conversion and three penalties.
