Setefano Cakau who had announced his retirement from international sevens in the last World Sevens Series is one of the 24 players named to move into camp to prepare for this season.

Head coach Alifereti Dere announced his team this afternoon.

Wardens players Levani Botia, Ilai Tinai and Joji Ragamate are also part of the team.

Hardworking Nadroga flanker Uliasi Lawavou has forced his way into the squad along with Osea Kolinisau and Dan Rawaqa.

Kolinisau missed most of last season because of injury.

The players move into camp next Tuesday giving them exactly a month to get their act together before the first leg of the new season starts in Gold Coast Australia.
