Fijiana should be wary of New Zealand when the Oceania World Cup Sevens qualifiers kicks off in Lautoka next month.
Current Black Ferns are gunning for a spot in the national New Zealand women’s sevens team to Fiji.
Although New Zealand and Australia have qualified for the World Cup in Moscow next year, sending a strong team to Fiji next month serves as a build up.
31 women and girls took part in the second national camp in Hamilton at the weekend as part of the Go4Gold programme.
The first national team will be selected this week with the likes of Black Ferns Victoria Grant and Teresa Te Tamaki expected to be named in the final 12.
