Fiji Airways men’s 7s coach Gareth Baber believes the team will put on another spectacular show at the Paris tournament this weekend.
Baber says after winning five tournaments the opposing teams now need to be aware of the threat the Fijian side can do in the tournament.
“We have got some strength in what we have done this week and over the last few tournaments as well and I’m sure those teams will be concerned about playing us and my job is keeping these boys focused.”
Fiji 7s are pooled with New Zealand, Kenya and Samoa for the Paris tournament.
They will play Samoa in its first pool match at 8.50pm on Saturday and then faces Kenya at 11.46pm.Fiji plays its final pool match against New Zealand at 5.14am on Sunday.
The cup quarterfinal kicks off at 8.13pm, semi-finals will be at 12.03am next Monday and the final is scheduled for 4.54am.
