Some members of the Vodafone Fiji 7s team are back in training this week, despite their homes and properties being damaged by Cyclone Winston.
Coach Ben Ryan says Pio Tuwai, Jerry Tuwai and Alifereti Veitokani have lost their homes in the Cyclone.
Ryan says he feels for the players as they had to leave their families behind to continue with their preparation for the North American leg of the World 7s Series.
The national extended squad had a joint training session with the Spain 7s team today.
The Spanish side is in the country to compete in the West 7s tournament that will be held in Nadi this weekend.
Meanwhile Ryan will announce the final 12-member squad on Friday for the Las Vegas and Vancouver 7s.
The Las Vegas 7s kicks off next Saturday.
Fiji is pooled with Argentina, France and Samoa.
