The Fiji Revenue and Customs Authority continue to investigate into more whistleblower cases in the country.
FRCA Chief Executive Visvanath Das says they are now gathering more information based on tip-offs.
“Whistle blower case numbers are increasing and the investigations are going on and only when we complete these cases and determine the rewards. We look at the whistle blower cases with the understatement of sales that has been happening, the VAT monitoring system is one of the ways or solution to address that.”
Das is urging all Fijians to report on any known case of tax evasion to FRCA.
