USP signs Commonwealth Scholarships MOU

The Association of Commonwealth Scholarships (ACU) and The University of the South Pacific (USP) have signed an agreement for USP to host Commonwealth Scholarships from 2016.

USP will be welcoming one Commonwealth Scholar to the University’s Laucala campus in Fiji in 2016, to study climate change.

Vice-Chancellor and President, Professor Rajesh Chandra says he is delighted to host scholars for the next two years.

Commonwealth Scholarships in countries are majority funded by the Commonwealth Scholarship and Fellowship Plan (CSFP) endowment fund.

Another scholarship is expected to begin from February 2017.
These scholarships are open to applicants from all Commonwealth Countries other than the host country.
