Training package to enhance leadership skills in communities

The i-Taukei Affairs Board is working in collaboration with the UNDP in putting together a training package for both the i-Taukei and non-iTaukei community called the National Strategy.

Objectives of this training is to facilitate our traditional leaders on the style of leadership skills they should acquire when dealing with development, social and cultural issues that may arise from their community.

Different agencies that contribute to this National Strategy include the UNDP, ITaukei Affairs Board, Department of Social welfare, Election office, Ministry of Lands, National Disaster Management, NGO’s, Fiji Disabled Society and Westpac Bank for Financial Literacy Module.

Training will be provided in Caukaudrove, Bua, Macuata and Ba provinces from the 11th to the 15th of January this year.
