Over 2,500 Peace Corps Volunteers has served in Fiji over the past 50 years.

“The work of cultural exchange, the work of being ambassador, the work of maintaining that connection and sharing that connection to the people back home goes on for the rest of their lives and we’ve seen this in many ways, we’ve seen these on volunteers who return to the US and connect with the Fijian communities that live in the US. We have an alumni Association that is dedicating to celebrating the amazing experiences that they has volunteers had in Fiji and to contributing to development projects here in Fiji.”

Peace Corps Volunteers began in Fiji in 1968 and has worked in 139 countries around the world.
