Taxi driver stabbed in arguement

A 41-year-old taxi driver is in police custody after he allegedly stabbed another taxi driver in Suva yesterday.

It is alleged that an argument broke out between the two men, whereby the 41-year-old stabbed the victim, a 48-year-old taxi driver.

The victim is currently admitted at CWM Hospital whilst the 41-year-old is under police custody with charges expected to be laid soon.

The Fiji Police Force is continuing to plead with members of the public to engage in constructive dialogue in resolving issues and not to resort to violence.

Petty issues of arguing for a base or offloading passengers has resulted in a grievous act.
