The Taveuni Correctional Centre took a beating from TC Winston.

A report from the Fiji Corrections Service in Labasa to the DISMAC team states that the total coast of the damage is $60,000.

Officers at the Center are now occupying the cells as rebuilding works are expected to start soon.

Meanwhile, inmates from Vaturekuka have been deployed to Nabouwalu to help in the cleanup efforts.

A team of 39 inmates and some officers are in Savusavu cleaning up as well.
