Members of the Social Democratic Liberal Party have gathered in Suva today to discuss changes to their constitution.

SODELPA President Ratu Naiqama Lalabalavu spoke to FBC News before the meeting.

“It’s just a special meeting to review, just to review our constitution, that’s all. Well that is for us to hear, that’s the reason for this meeting. It’s a constitution and it’s a democratic one and I say that, I say that with all sincerity, anything can happen.”

The majority opposition party has been in the headlines recently because of differing factions.

That has led to an internal investigation into a damning audit report as well as addressing complaints from MP Mosese Bulitavu and SODELPA Principal Administration Officer Mick Beddoes.
