Shop owners around the Suva City area will undergo training facilitated by the Suva Retailers Association.
Speaking to FBC News President of Suva Retailers Association Himhat Lodhia says shop owners and managers will need to undergo training so that they can be aware of the rules and regulations that are there to guide their businesses.
Lodhia says it is important for shop owners to follow the law during business hours.
“We will be definitely explaining to them the new companies bill and how it affects the small and medium retailers of course the OHS Compliance, the compliance with the Fire Authority and these are some of the things that they need to know about”.
Lodhia confirms that the Suva Retailers Association will have their Annual General Meeting at the end of this month where new board members will be elected.
