A school teacher from Ba is in police custody after he was charged with drunk driving and in-charge of motor vehicle.

It’s alleged on the 11th of this month, the accused was driving a motor vehicle along Baka Drive in Delainavesi, Lami under the influence of alcohol.

Police say the accused was under the influence of 112.4 milligrams of alcohol which is an extent of being incapable of having proper control of the motor vehicle.

The man is in custody and will appear in the Suva Magistrates Court this afternoon.
