Water and electricity supply has been restored in Qauia outside Lami.

While, residents took advantage of the sunshine and started their clean up yesterday, Lagi Vula says this flood has left many in Qauia in shock.

“On Friday night the water came inside the house. It was knee level and I was inside the house. It was very damaging even last night it was very windy and dangerous to move around.”

The flood water has receded in Qauia with residents hopeful that any further heavy rain will not eventuate.
