Two tsunami sirens situated at the USP’s Lower Campus in Laucala, Suva and at the Lami Town Council will be tested by the National Disaster Managements Office this morning.

Residents living within the vicinity of the areas mentioned will hear a five minutes emergency tone from the various sirens located at these two vicinities between 8:30am and 9:30am.

This is a test to ensure that the Tsunami Warning Siren System is performing well.

Residents living within these vicinities are advised that this will only be a siren test.
