A man is alleged to be missing following the strong winds and rain experienced in Suva yesterday.

Police are looking for the man, who is alleged to have been missing, since last night.

Police Chief of Operations ACP Rusiate Tudravu says the identity of the man is unknown.

However investigations have revealed that the man got off a taxi last night and allegedly crossed a drain near Laucala Beach.

ACP Tudravu says investigations are continuing.
