Police are still waiting for the post mortem results to ascertain the cause of the death of the 23 year old man of Raiwaqa who died at the Intensive Care Unit at the CWM Hospital on Tuesday night.

It is alleged that the man was beaten up by another man before he was taken to the Raiwaqa Police Station.

Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro confirms the man was arrested on Monday morning for allegedly damaging property.

Naisoro says when he was brought in; he was taken for medical treatment and was admitted.

The 23 year-old was a member of the Raiwaqa Raiders Rugby League team.
