The University of the South Pacific’s Pacific Technical and Further Education launched its inaugural Certificate of Competence programme at the Workforce Development Training Unit (WDTU) in Suva.

The Certificate of Competence programme is a new approach by the institution to align business results with an individual’s capacity and capability to deliver those results.

Pacific TAFE Executive Director Hasmukh lal says the individual outputs or accomplishments that lead to the achievement of organisational goals matter the most.
