Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama has labelled the second parliament sitting last week as forward thinking from the government side.

He says government MPs showed consistency and responsibility.

Bainimarama says they outlined the progress the nation has made and at the same time passed new legislation to keep our nation on the fast-track of growth and development.

He says the low level contributions from Opposition Members during debates hasn’t changed as he is not sure of who they were there to oppose.

The Prime Minister says Opposition members continues to come up with the same misinformation and confusion.

Bainimarama says people can see for themselves what the current government is doing and they will ensure that all Fijians have a fair share of the ongoing developments.

Bainimarama also stated that they will continue to protect I-taukei lands and ensure Fijians get better returns on their land.
