Opposition MP votes in favour of govt bill

A member of the opposition has voted across the floor on one of the Bills tabled in parliament today.

There were thirty three votes in favour of the Tax Amnesty Bill, whereas there are only thirty two government MPs.

This means an Opposition MP has voted for the Bill which received twelve ‘Nos’ from the floor.

The voting sheet has not been released by the parliament secretariat as yet.
