A one-year-old boy is admitted at the Lautoka Hospital in critical condition following an accident.

The incident happened along Queen Road near Natabua last night.

The victim was traveling with his parents when it is alleged his mother fell asleep at the wheel resulting in the vehicle veering off the road and landing in a drain.

His parents are also admitted for observation and are in stable condition.
