The whole of Viti Levu is without electricity this hour.

FBC News has been informed the national blackout occurred earlier this afternoon – however the cause of the outage is unknown.

It’s understood the Fiji Electricity Authority is investigating and is also likely to conduct an aerial survey.

It’s unclear when electricity supply on Viti Levu will return to normal.
