Nine million dollars will be spent on relocating the Nausori bus stand and market area to the proposed new sites by 2013.

While the green light has already been given by the Local Government Ministry, new developments would make way for other major projects.

Director Town and Country Planning, Losana Rokotuibau says the current bus stand and market area could be developed further and Nausori could have its first hotel.

Rokotuibau says the river would suit a project such as a hotel which Nausori has long waited for.

However, she says it will all depend on investors and planners.
