Police have confirmed that another person has died following the Nabou accident in Sigatoka over the weekend.

Spokesperson, Ana Naisoro says seventeen-year-old Josevati Nalili Saukuru is the latest fatality bringing the death toll to seven.

Naisoro says the teenager was on life support prior to passing away earlier today at the Lautoka Hospital.

It is believed the victim was in a minivan which was on its way to Suva when it hit a truck which was travelling to Nadi.

Police investigation continues.
