Government today more than doubled its initial grant disbursement to the people of Bua.

Last year, 699 small and micro entrepreneurs in Nabouwalu received $1,000 MSB grants.

Today, 1,645 more Fijians received grants from Minister for Trade and Industry, Faiyaz Koya.

This brings the total number of entrepreneurs in Nabouwalu assisted under the MSBG programme to 2, 344.

Koya reminded the recipients the grant is not a handout but a leg up for their business ventures.

He says by providing the grant, the benefits will be realized by their families.

The MSB grants has so far impacted the lives of 11, 720 Fijians in Bua.
