A man who allegedly robbed a woman in Narere last Wednesday has been remanded in custody.

Cama Tuiloa of Tailevu who is charged with one count of aggravated robbery appeared at the Nasinu Magistrates Court.

The accused allegedly grabbed Shira Bibi’s bag whilst she was waiting for a bus at a bus stop and ran away with more than $400.

He was later arrested by police.

The case will be recalled on the 1st of next month at the Suva High Court.
