Director of Wilderness Amusement, Donald Mani whose company is responsible for the ferris wheel claims the ride is OHS compliant and has met all the requirements.

“All our Ferris Wheels are OHS compliant and it was running well from Friday and unfortunately the incident happened on Monday around eleven o’clock.”

According to Mani, the child along with other passengers on the ride had swung the seat resulting in a full turn which allegedly led to the incident.

Mani claims by the time, the operator tried to slow the ride down it was too late.
