I moved to NFP because of its leadership: Kanavo

Former Fiji First strong supporter Waisele Kanavo has revealed why he jumped ship following the 2014 election.

Speaking at the National Federation Party rally in Labasa, Kanavo says his been asked several times why he moved from the Fiji First Party to the National Federation Party.

Kanavo is a former military advisor, and had been a strong supporter of the government since 2006.

He told his supporters that he was advocating for the FijiFirst Party in the 2014 election and left it in 2015 due to issues with the party leadership.

Kanavo says he chose to join the NFP because of its great leadership and policies.

He told supporters in Labasa, that the leaders of the NFP work with ethics and they listen and take on advice from everyone in the Party.

Kanavo adds that this is the type of leadership that Fiji needs.
