The Housing Authority Board has finalized and sent all the documents regarding the job evaluation exercise pay out to the Ministry of Public Enterprise

Board member Nezbitt Hazelman says they are awaiting a response.

Hazelman says in normal cases involving a joint job evaluation exercise, consultation happens right throughout the process.

“It’s not a one of consultation and Mr Naidu needs to realize that Housing Authority is owned by the government of the day and there is processors that needs to take place.”

Meanwhile about ten Housing Authority staff walked-out of the office last Friday during their lunch break to protest the issue of non-compliance.

Hazelman says however that the Board still has time to comply with the orders of the Arbitration Court.
