Health Minister Dr Ifereimi Waqainabete

Delivering quality health service continues to be a challenge for the Health Ministry.

Health Minister Dr Ifereimi Waqainabete says the health needs of the public increases every day and they will continue to search for avenues to assist all Fijians.

Dr Waqainabete says one of the main motive of the FijiFirst government is to develop the health sector and they will ensure that improvements are made in health service delivery.

“That will not stop, that’s the ethos of this government as to ensure that we provide a high standard of health care throughout the country, irrespective whether you live in Suva or you live elsewhere”

Despite the concerns raised by people on a daily basis in regards to health service delivery, Dr Waqainabete says the government is working very hard to improve the state of our health sector.
