Govt caucus meets to discuss budget debate

Government members of parliament have held their first full caucus over the last two days to discuss party and pending parliament issues.

Government Whip Semi Koroilavesau says all other government MPs are in attendance with the exception of the Prime Minister and the Trade Minister who are overseas on official duty.

“The caucus basically is for our caucus to discuss the budget, preparing and going into the budget debate next week’’.

The caucus concludes this afternoon.

The 2015 Budget debate in Parliament is scheduled to begin on Monday and will be held for two weeks.
