Fourteen government ministries including media organisation will depart for the Lau Group today.

This is a government visit in which all government services taken to the maritime areas which are usually provided in urban areas.

Commissioner Eastern Luke Moroivalu says projects which were undertaken from the previous years will be looked into while visiting the island.

Moroivalu also says most people in the maritime areas were mislead by politicians during elections last year and this is also an issue that needs to be addressed.

Government officials will be visiting islands in the central Lau Group.
