The Commission says it is conducting a general investigation into the Ministry and cannot comment further into the matter at present.

It says it will release details once investigations have completed as commenting now will affect the integrity of the case.

The investigation is ongoing into the Ministry of Health because of the complexity of the case.

It says investigations are pursued into the public offices when the Commission receives complaints against these offices.

FICAC has confirmed the statement has been released in response to documents leaked from within implicating senior officials in alleged corrupt conduct regarding tender processes.

The leaked documents are on the Fijileaks website.
