Fire guts two homes in Lautoka

Two homes were destroyed in seperate fire incidence in Lautoka last night.

Police Spokesperson Ana Naisoro says a government quarters in Malolo Street was destroyed when the fire started from a security light.

No one was injured. Estimated cost of damages stand at $38,000.

In another incident a three bedroom home was destroyed at Tanoa Place in Lautoka.

The home belonged to a 68 year old retired school teacher.

The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.

Cost of damages is estimated at $65,000.
