Fiji 7s team manager, Semi Rogoyawa has already put out the call for the first national squad fitness test in Suva next week.

Coaches will have to start from scratch again following the absence of core players for the new season.

It is a loss to us in terms of development but that is one of our key indicators for us to train them and we need to train them. the player welfare is paramount and when there is contract we release them as it is not only for them but for the country, family and the vanua.

The first fitness test will take place at the High Performance Unit gym in Laucala Bay next Wednesday.
