The Fiji Broadcasting Corporation has appointed one of its longest serving broadcasters as its first female programme director for Radio Fiji bestowing her the symbolic title of Adi Walesi.
Nai Koli Kamanalagi says she is excited about the opportunity to develop her broadcasting career.
“I am thankful to be the first woman to be programme director for RFI after 27 years of working for FBC”.

Nai Koli Kamanalagi took her up her new appointment last Thursday.
This position has been held by men since FBC’s inception in 1950.
Kamanalagi succeeds Apakuki Waqa as programme director of Fiji’s most popular Itaukei station – Radio Fiji One.
