A mill employee died at the Rarawai Sugar Mill in Ba.
The Fiji Sugar Corporation has confirmed that the fatal accident occurred at around 8am today.
Executive chair Abdul Khan says an employee was fixing the baggase conveyor belt.

It is believed the employee got trapped when the conveyor belt started moving again.
He was taken to the Ba Hospital where he died shortly after.
Khan will lead the Corporation’s internal investigation and they will work with Police and Labour Ministry officials.
